Xi demands ‘accurate information’ about crash
PRESIDENT Xi Jinping said yesterday he wants accurate information about the TransAsia Airways plane crash as quickly as possible.
He also ordered that the relatives of passengers are properly cared for and that all related matters are properly managed.
Premier Li Keqiang, meanwhile, called for strengthened communication and contact with authorities in Taiwan so that casualties can be confirmed and necessary help provided.
He also ordered that the relatives of the mainland passengers be kept properly informed.
The Taiwan Work Office of the Party’s Central Committee has sent a team to Taiwan to handle related affairs.
