XI Jinping, the Party chief, has called on procuratorial, judicial and public security bodies to fight against injustice and corruption to ensure "justice in each judicial case."
He urged efforts to "firmly oppose injustice in law enforcement and judicial corruption" in a written instruction to the national political and legal work conference in Beijing yesterday.
Xi asked the bodies to deepen reform of the country's judicial system, strictly supervise the police and improve law enforcement capabilities in order to make the public feel safe and satisfied, as well as win public trust.
