Yunnan official says lewd pictures of him manipulated

A Yunnan provincial government official whose face appeared in a set of pornographic pictures on the Internet has told police that the images were manipulated and that the man in the pictures was "definitely not him."
The three pictures of a prostitution scene involving two men and a woman, were published on a Kunming City website on July 31 and soon caused a stir among netizens. The publisher claimed to have found the pictures on a flash drive he had picked up by chance, and wrote that one of the men in the pictures worked for the Kunming Development and Reform Commission, Kunming Daily reported.
Later the official, surnamed Cheng, contacted the website and requested that they delete the pictures, claiming the "lost" flash drive disk was not his and the man in pictures was not him.
"I often show up in the media, so it's very easy for someone to find my face on the Internet for processing those pictures," Cheng said.
Cheng claimed to have reported the case to the local police, and revealed that he had received threats from "strangers" before the pictures were published.
