Former science official in Hubei removed for bribes, adultery, other graft

Zhang Zhenlong, former vice head of Science and Technology Department of Hubei Province, has been expelled from the Communist Party of China for serious disciplinary violations.
Zhang is accused of taking advantage of his position, seeking benefits for others and accepting huge bribes. Zhang is also an adulterer, the Party’s Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said in a statement on its website.
His suspected crimes severely violated Party discipline and the law, and his case will be transferred to judicial departments for criminal investigation and prosecution, the watchdog said.
