Party expels tax bureau official in Fujian

SHI Weixiong, former deputy director of the Fujian Province tax bureau, has been expelled from the Party and removed from public office as he was placed under investigation for bribery.
According to the investigation, Shi took advantage of his power and accepted bribes while working for tax bureaus in the cities of Jinjiang and Quanzhou, as well as the provincial tax bureau.
He has been transferred to judicial departments for a criminal investigation and possible prosecution.
