Mei Zuen was removed from his post as a standing member of the Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in Hubei Province and vice director of the provincial economic committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference after he was accused of serious disciplinary violations, according to the organization department of the Hubei Party Committee.
