ZHOU Liangeng, vice mayor of Kaifeng City, are being investigated for suspected serious violations of law and discipline, the provincial Party discipline inspection commission disclosed on Thursday.
Zhou, 49, is also Party chief of the Kaifeng Public Security Bureau.
Last month, Qin Yuhai, deputy head of the Henan People's Congress' standing committee, was put under the spotlight for alleged "serious law and discipline violations".
