Seven children were hacked to death and at least 20 others were injured after a violent attack at a kindergarten in northwest China's Shaanxi Province this morning, local authorities said.
The incident happened at about 8 am at a kindergarten in Nanzheng County of Hanzhong City, said Liu Xiaoming, a local publicity official.
"The injured have been rushed to hospital," he said.
