A TORNADO touched down a densely populated area in Guangdong Province near the Hong Kong border, killing five people and injuring 12, China News Service said yesterday. The tornado hit Longgang and Pingshan, a pair of neighboring districts in the southern city of Shenzhen on Friday, uprooting trees and cutting off electricity.
