Heeding 'buried' voices is essential to social stability

OURS is a golden age of expression, but many voices remain unheard or unheeded.

"Buried" as they are, these voices should be noticed. It's the responsibility of the government to safeguard the right of the weak to express themselves through established channels. Indeed, this is a key to social harmony.

If we look into many cases of conflicts today, we will find that a root cause is usually the inability of the weak to speak up for their interests - and be heard. In this sense, to safeguard the right of expression of the weak is to safeguard social stability.

Conflicts only worsen if governments don't take the initiative to listen to those "buried voices."

Hot media topics are often a tip of an iceberg. The rest of the iceberg, or those unheard voices, are really the key part of social consciousness. They have to be heard and heeded.
