Workers deserve share of profits
CHINA should explore ways to allow ordinary workers to earn more than salaries - they should be entitled to a share of corporate dividends as well.
Basically, salaries are part of corporate costs, which means a worker paid only in salary does not benefit from corporate profits at all.
In the Marxist view, however, it amounts to sheer exploitation if a company - the owner of the means of production - retains all the profits.
Socialism is supposed to be the terminator of exploitation, so China should seriously consider the possibility of allowing ordinary workers to enjoy part of corporate profits. This could help narrow income gaps.
