2 world records created

Two new Guinness World Records were created at the 6th Double Dutch Contest Shanghai, which concluded at the Qingpu Indoor Stadium over the weekend. Jointly organized by the Shanghai Sports Bureau, the Qingpu District sports authority and the Shanghai Jump Rope Association, the two-day event attracted more than 400 rope skippers and 60 teams from home and abroad, who displayed their skills in four competitions — Speed Race, Compulsory Routine, Double Dutch Performance and The Challenge. In “The Challenge” competition, two new Guinness World Records were created, both by Chinese skippers. Wang Shisen set a new record of 100 times in the “most double under skips in 30 seconds” while Cen Xialin broke his own record in the “most alternate step skips in 30 seconds” by creating a new record of 228 times.
