24 teams take part in JUMP 10 World Hoops Challenge in Shanghai

2017 JUMP 10 World Hoops Challenge was held at Shanghai’s Rucker Park starting from Thursday.
The opening ceremony was attended by Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo. “Shanghai has the world’s best hoops venue and tournament. A future NBA star might be found here,” said the Greek.
Coming to the second year, the four-day tournament features a total of 24 teams. Four are from China while the rest represent countries like the US, Germany, France, Spain, Australia, etc. They will be competing for a total prize money of US$200,000.
A slam dunk contest will be organized during the tournament, featuring star dunkers like Lipek, Take Fly, Chris Air, etc.
The tournament is also part of this year’s Shanghai Citizen’s Amateur League.
