2nd Shanghai Citizen Sports Meet to kick off at the end of April

THE second Shanghai Citizen Sports Meet will kick off at the end of April, Shanghai Sports Bureau said. The meet, which will have 65 events, will include archery, fencing, sailing and skating. Some of the events will be non-competitive that are intended to get citizens involved in sports activities. Retired hurdler Liu Xiang, former table tennis world champion Wang Liqin, diver Wu Minxia, and Shanghai Sharks owner Yao Ming have been named ambassadors for the meet.
