AUSTRALIAN Rules football player Liam Jurrah has been charged over an alleged machete attack. The Melbourne Demons said yesterday that the forward, who led the team in goal-kicking last season, was one of two 23-year-old men arrested following the incident on Wednesday. The men and a woman were charged with three offenses concerning the assault and injury of a 35-year-old man. Jurrah was released on bail yesterday and will reappear in court on May 17.
