Al-Shabab has edge
JUAN Olivera and Faisal al-Sultan scored late goals on Tuesday as al-Shabab came from behind three times to beat Seongnam Ilhwa 4-3 in the semifinals of the Asian Champions League. Trailing 2-3 in Riyadh, the Saudi Arabian team won the first leg after Olivera found the net in the 82nd minute and al-Sultan did likewise six minutes later. The second leg is on October 19 in Seoul. Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia was taking on Zobahan of Iran in the first leg of the other semifinal yesterday. The final is in Tokyo on November 13. Pohang Steelers of South Korea are the defending champions.
