VETERAN Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero wants to extend his football career for another three years at least. Juventus and Del Piero have already confirmed this will be the 37-year-old's last season at the Serie A club. Del Piero however told a Spanish newspaper that he wants to play "until I'm 40" and "I don't want to say where I'll finish my career, I want to finish this phase calmly. What will be will be." He is Juventus' all-time leading scorer since joining in 1993.
