SHANDONG Luneng has roped in former Serbian coach Radomir Antic to manage the club.
The 64-year-old signed a two-year contract and will arrive on January 8 in Jinan, capital city of the eastern China's Shandong Province. "I'm not an old China hand, but I'm trying to get to know China and Chinese soccer," he said. "It could be a challenge that I'm not afraid of. My first task in Luneng will be to restore the proud, confidence of my players." During his 25-year coaching career, the former Red Star Belgrade coach has also been at the helm of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
