MAJOR League Baseball has announced the setting up of a development center in Changzhou Beijiao Middle School in Jiangsu Province yesterday, with the sole purpose of promoting baseball and grooming young Chinese talents. MLB already has another center in Wuxi. "We want to give kids more opportunities to play baseball, while they receive quality education," said Paul Archey, senior vice president of MLB's international business operations.
