Bielsa extends deal

ATHLETIC Bilbao has given coach Marcelo Bielsa a one-year contract extension that keeps him at the Spanish league team until the end of next season. The Argentine led Bilbao to its first European final since 1977 and the Copa del Rey final in the past season. However, the Basque club lost both finals 0-3 to Athletico Madrid and Barcelona.
