AUSTRALIAN champion Bianca Elmir reportedly received a doping ban 14 hours before she was due to leave for the women's world boxing championships in China this week, ending her chances of competing at the London Olympics. The Sydney Morning Herald reported yesterday that Elmir tested positive for a banned diuretic at the Australian titles in February, when she won the 51-kilogram class.
