Brady injury scare
New England President Jonathan Kraft said star quarterback Tom Brady was not seriously injured when he collided with another player during the Patriots’ practice on Wednesday. Three-time Super Bowl champion Brady left the field with an apparent knee injury which he suffered while attempting a pass. Brady tore the ACL in the same knee in 2008, ending his season on what was the opening game of the year. “I’m under the impression that it’s probably not that serious,” Kraft told The Sports Hub, a Boston radio show. Brady was hurt when Patriots tackle Nate Solder was pushed back into him — Brady hit the ground and then grabbed his left knee in pain. But the two-time league MVP walked off the field on his own. ESPN reported that the MRI on Brady’s knee was negative. Brady has played his entire National Football League career with the Patriots, appearing in five Super Bowl contests.
