Bryant auctions his NBA rings
A MEMORABILIA dispute between Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant and his parents officially ended when the settled items sold at an auction.
Among the items Bryant allowed Goldin Auctions to sell were two duplicate versions of Bryant's 2000 NBA championship ring that were originally gifts for his parents. One of the rings sold for US$174,184 while the other fetched US$108,153. Bryant's parents agreed to sell nearly 100 items to Goldin Auctions, but Bryant sued, claiming the items belonged to him and were not for sale.
