Canada sweep

CHARLES Hamelin led a Canadian sweep in the men's 1,000 meters in a World Cup short-track speedskating event in Saguenay, Quebec, on Sunday. Hamelin won in 1 minute, 28.748 seconds. Michael Gilday was second, followed by Olivier Jean and South Korea's Kwak Yoon-gy. Francois-Louis Tremblay won the 500 in 41.655 seconds. Fellow Canadian Guillaume Bastille was second, with China's Liang Wenhao third.
