ITALIAN MotoGP rider Loris Capirossi will retire at the end of this season. The 38-year-old Capirossi made the announcement during a tearful news conference ahead of Sunday's San Marino Grand Prix. Over the course of 22 seasons in the sport, Capirossi has won three world titles - one in 250cc and two in 125cc - and stepped onto the podium 99 times.
