DEFENDING champion Spain has hired former French Open finalist Alex Corretja as its new Davis Cup captain on a two-year contract. The Spanish tennis federation said that Corretja will replace Albert Costa, who stepped down this month after leading Spain to two Davis Cup titles in three years.
