Cycling race change

THE UCI Women's Road World Cup 2012 and the Tour of Chongming Island 2012 will be held in Shanghai from May 9 to May 13, the city's sports bureau said yesterday. The women's World Cup race will see its route changed this year.
The 120.4-kilometer race will start at Shanghai Oriental Sports Center in Pudong and pass through the Changjiang tunnel and bridge and finish in Chongming's Chengqiao Town. Eighteen teams will compete in the race as the athletes prepare for the London Olympics.
