THE first Shanghai International Darts Open will be staged from October 15 to 17 at Shanghai Sports Hotel. With a total prize money of US$120,000, the highest in Asia, the three-day event features 128 male and 45 female players from all over the world, including three-time world champion John Part of Canada, who is currently 4th in the Professional Darts Corporation ranking, and 2008 UK Open runner-up Gary Mawson of US, as well as China's top ranked player Shi Yongsheng.
