Sunderland manager Paolo Di Canio has been fined 8,000 pounds (US$12,700) by the English Football Association after accepting a charge of misconduct for his outburst at a referee. Toward the end of his team’s 3-1 loss at Arsenal last Saturday, Di Canio argued with referee Martin Atkinson and was sent off the field.
