Dragons force Game 5 in semis
THE Shanxi Brave Dragons beat the Beijing Ducks 102-100 last night in Taiyuan to even their best-of-five Chinese Basketball Association semifinal series at 2-2.
It is the first time that any CBA semifinal will be decided in the fifth game. Shanxi's Marcus Williams scored 34 points and added 8 rebounds and Charles Gaines had 25 points and 16 rebounds. Beijing's favorite Stephon Marbury scored 25 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals while Randolph Morris led all scorers with 36 points, and 13 rebounds. The fifth game is scheduled for Wednesday and the winner will meet defending champions, the Guangdong Southern Tigers, in the finals.
