ENGLAND has beaten West Indies by five wickets in the first test at Lord's yesterday. Alastair Cook's 79 (10 fours, 127 balls) and Ian Bell's unbeaten 63 from 103 balls with 10 fours clinched an ultimately comfortable victory on day five.
