Ex-boxer shot dead

POLICE say armed men shot and killed three-time Pakistani Olympic boxer Abrar Hussain yesterday. Police officer Hamid Shakil said Hussain died after assailants shot him in the head while he was driving from his office in Quetta. The 50-year-old represented Pakistan in the 1984, '88 and '92 Olympics. He was deputy director of sports in the capital of Balochistan Province.
