AFTER just four games in two weeks in the Chinese Basketball Association league, Gerald Green, a former NBA slam duck contest winner, was sacked by Foshan Dralion club.
Foshan said that it decided to terminate the contract with the 25-year-old forward because he "failed to fit into the tactical system of the whole team," despite outstanding personal abilities. "The coach considered it again and again and made this difficult decision, in order to meet the team's long-term needs," the club's statement said. Foshan has won only one game in its first four matches this season.
