GAO Hongbo, former coach of the Chinese men's national team, has signed up to take charge of Shanghai East Asia Football Club for the upcoming Chinese Super League season, the soccer club announced yesterday. As one of the three clubs from Shanghai in the CSL, minnow East Asia aims to be among the top six in the 16-team league in its top-flight debut season.
