FORTUNA Duesseldorf will play Hertha Berlin for a place in the Bundesliga next season after finishing third in Germany's second division yesterday. Duesseldorf's 2-2 draw with Duisburg was enough to secure third place on goal difference from St Pauli, which beat Paderborn 5-0. Berlin finished third from bottom in the 18-team Bundesliga and will host Duesseldorf in the first leg of their playoff on Thursday.
