German violence

BITTER German rivals Borussia Dortmund and Schalke have issued a joint condemnation of rioting before this past weekend's Bundesliga match between the clubs. About 200 people were detained following the violence ahead of Saturday's derby between defending champion Dortmund and local rival Schalke. The two clubs said they will analyze the weekend's events along with police.
