Norway’s Kjetil Jansrud secured his third World Cup super-G title after success in the penultimate race of the season at Kvitfjell yesterday. Jansrud, 32, swept down the piste in 1 minute 33.21 seconds at his home event to see off Switzerland’s Beat Feuz and France’s Brice Roger. Ahead of this week’s World Cup finals in Are, Sweden, Jansrud, on 360 points, is uncatchable in the super-G standings after his closest pursuer, compatriot Aksel Lund Svindal, failed to finish yesterday.
