Jeonbuk, Cerezo to meet in quarters

FORMER champion Jeonbuk Motors will meet Cerezo Osaka in an Asian Champions League quarterfinal rematch between the two qualifiers from Group G.
Jeonbuk and Cerezo had a win apiece in their home-and-away series in the group stage and were drawn to meet again when the quarterfinalists were decided at Asian Football Confederation headquarters in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. In other quarterfinals: two-time ACL winner al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia will meet K-League champion FC Seoul; South Korea's Suwon Samsung Bluewings faces 2010 finalist Zob Ahan of Iran; and Iran's Sepahan will meet 1988 Asian champion al-Sadd of Qatar. The quarterfinals will be played on September 14 and 27.
