Jockey dies
AN apprentice French jockey has died from his injuries after falling during a race, the French Jockeys Association said yesterday. Benjamin Boutin, who was 21, was riding Game Of Legs in an apprentices' race at Argentan in Normandy on Saturday when he fell after being accidentally blocked by another rider. Boutin was riding Prorisks when he got his first win last year in Deauville, and he had 14 wins overall.
