Johnson's OT buzzer-beater lifts Nets past Bucks

JOE Johnson hit a tying 3-pointer in the closing seconds of the fourth quarter and hit a buzzer-beating jump shot at the end of overtime to lift the Brooklyn Nets to a 113-111 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks yesterday.
Johnson finished with 24 points, and Brook Lopez and Deron Williams added 19 each as the Nets ended a 13-game losing streak against the Bucks dating back to March 30, 2009.
Brandon Jennings scored 34 points to lead the Bucks.
Chicago's Luol Deng scored 20 points as the Bulls ended a two-game losing streak with a 96-87 win over the New Orleans Hornets.
Carlos Boozer added 17 points and 10 rebounds, and Joakim Noah had 15 points and 17 rebounds for Chicago, which outrebounded New Orleans 47-39 and had 15 second-chance points.
Gordon finished with 20 points and Anthony Davis had 15 points and 10 rebounds for New Orleans.
Memphis won its fourth straight game as Mike Conley scored 19 points, and Zach Randolph had his 31st double-double in the Grizzlies' 105-91 at the Detroit Pistons.
Brandon Knight and Jonas Jerebko each scored 13 points and Jose Calderon added 10 points and seven assists for the Pistons, who have lost two of their last three at home.
At Washington, DeMar DeRozan and Rudy Gay scored 24 points each as the Toronto Raptors beat the Wizards 96-88 in a matchup between slow-starting.
Rookie Bradley Beal, back in the starting lineup for the first time since taking time off to heal a sprained right wrist, scored 25 points for the Wizards, who had won eight of nine at home.
Charlotte survived Orlando's second-half comeback as Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson each had 24 points, and Byron Mullens added 20 points and 12 rebounds in the Bobcats' 105-92 victory over the Magic.
Goran Dragic had 16 points and a career-high 18 assists for Phoenix as the Suns ended a four-game losing streak with a 102-98 win over the Portland Trail Blazers, while Tony Parker had 30 points and 11 assists as the San Antonio Spurs won their 15th of 16 games, 108-102 over the Sacramento Kings.
In other games, the Denver Nuggets downed the Boston Celtics 97-90 and the Utah Jazz defeated the Golden State Warriors 115-10.
