Kimball notches first IndyCar win

British-born US driver Charlie Kimball claimed his first IndyCar win on Sunday, continuing Chip Ganassi’s recent dominance in the American open-wheel racing series.
In a race that ran caution-free at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Kimball passed French driver Simon Pagenaud and took the lead for good with 18 of 90 laps remaining. He beat Pagenaud to the finish line by 5.5 seconds to notch his first win in his 45th start.
