Kunlun fight All-Star in Shanghai

KUNLUN Fight, China’s biggest MMA/K1 series, is staging its all-star year-end competition at Shanghai Oriental Sports Center next month to close the 2015 season. It will be the first time Kunlun Fight will visit Shanghai, bringing along former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson on fight day — January 9, 2016.

“Tyson will show up as a spokesperson to help raise the profile of Kunlun Fight,” said Tony Chen, event director of Kunlun Fight. Chen revealed that Tyson, who has started training again, will have some “interaction” with Chinese Sanshou kickboxer Liu Hailong during the event. Kunlun All-Star in Shanghai will feature male and female fighters from home and abroad, including Buakaw Por Puramuk of Thailand, Chinese fighters Wang Sai and women duo Tang Jin and Wang Kehan. Tickets are available at www.damai.cn/sh with the price ranging from 388 yuan (US$60) to 1,880 yuan. Launched in 2014, Kunlun Fight has been holding contests around China as well as Thailand, Philippines, Slovakia, Belarus etc.
