MLB All-Stars drub Taiwanese team 6-2
WASHINGTON Nationals first baseman Michael Morse contributed two extra base hits including a towering home run over the center field wall to pace an MLB All-Star team to a 6-2 win over a Chinese Taipei side in the third game of their five-game baseball series.
Morse doubled in a run in the first inning before hitting a solo shot in the third in the central city of Taichung. After the game he said "I'm glad I got to hit one in front of my fans here in Taiwan." The teams close out their series over the weekend with two games in Kaohsiung.
