Man dies after collision at Rally

ARGENTINE police said a man died when the small truck he was driving collided with a car participating in the Dakar Rally on Thursday.

Police said the accident took place about 10 kilometers from the northern Argentine town of Tinogasta. The accident took place when Argentine driver Eduardo Amor was still completing the 10th stage, which leading competitors finished on Wednesday. Nasser Al-Attiyah of Qatar closed in on his first Dakar Rally title when he won the 11th stage and sole rival Carlos Sainz broke his right front suspension and lost more than an hour on Thursday.
