Galatasaray finalized the appointment of Roberto Mancini as its new coach on a three-year deal to replace Fatih Terim.
The Turkish giant confirmed the news, saying he will pocket 3.5 million euros (US$4.7m) for this season plus 4.5 million euros more for each of the next two campaigns. The Italian, who was sacked from Manchester City in the summer, will also earn a 300,000-euro bonus if the club wins the Turkish title and reach the Champions League quarterfinals.
