Nadal and Roddick arrive for Masters

TOP seed Rafael Nadal and American fourth seed Andy Roddick arrived in Shanghai yesterday for the 2009 Shanghai ATP Masters 1000.

Spain's Rafael Nadal had just lost his semifinals match against Marin Cilic of Croatia at the Tennis China Open in Beijing on October 10.

He started training only four hours after his arrival, Shanghai Morning Post reported today.

Last Friday, newly crowned US Open champion Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina began practicing in Qizhong Tennis Center.

The third seed said he would try his best to win every match.

Second seed Novak Djokovic will return to Qizhong Tennis Center this week after winning the China Open men's final yesterday.
