TWO-TIME Olympic champion and three-time world champion Zou Shiming announced at a press conference in Beijing yesterday that he will turn professional in April.
The most successful Chinese boxer in history is optimistic about his chances in the professional ranks despite being 31. "This is my dream, so age is not a barrier. Your level, your weight class, your height; none of these are barriers as long as you possess bravery in your heart." Zou will compete in Macau in April, against an opponent yet to be announced.
