STRIKER Michael Owen is leaving Manchester United following three injury-blighted seasons after saying he has not been offered a new contract by the Premier League club. Owen disclosed on Twitter that manager Alex Ferguson told him on Tuesday that he would not be offered a new contract. Owen says he plans "to have a short holiday during which I will contemplate my next move."
