Paraguay coach banned for final
PARAGUAY coach Gerardo Martino will watch the Copa America final from the stands after he was suspended for two games following a brawl at the end of their semifinal win over Venezuela.
Both sides were also fined US$10,000 for the fight which broke out after Paraguay defender Dario Veron scored the winning spot kick to send his side into tomorrow's final against Uruguay in Buenos Aires. The teams were warned that they faced serious sanctions for any further trouble in the tournament but none of the players involved in the free-for-all were punished.
