Pressure on Massa
FERRARI President Luca di Montezemolo has told Felipe Massa he will need to prove himself next year if he is to remain with the Italian Formula One team. Massa, whose contract runs out at the end of 2012, trails champion Sebastian Vettel by 266 points heading into this season's final race in Brazil this weekend.
Di Montezemolo said in a radio interview that "we expect a great 2012 from him and then we will evaluate what to do. Let's say he is driving for a new deal next season." The Italian added that "we have a contract until 2016 with Fernando (Alonso), who remains the best driver in the world in races."
